The specialty machine manufacturer Endutec normally makes high-accuracy manipulators for the semiconductor industry. But one day, the twelve-man operation near Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria received an offer to produce parts for a lunar rover. Endutec relied on its own automation design combined with the StateMonitor software from HEIDENHAIN to begin machining on nights and weekends. Watch the video
