Implementing and configuring an Integration Engine
Various information systems within a healthcare organization (Hospital Information System, Laboratory reports, etc.) need to be integrated to optimize efficiency and efficacy and prevent medical mistakes. Currently, inefficiency and inefficacy is caused by the fact that medical care providers need to query multiple standalone systems. The ideal solution is that all systems are seamlessly integrated in such a way that one single comprehensive system is provided to the medical care provider(s). One such integration strategy to manage message flow can be done with an Integration Engine (IE).
