Job Mission

Additive Industries is looking for an Account Manager. In this role you are responsible for:

  1. Managing a selection of existing accounts. Cross- and upsell our capital equipment and services, manage relationships, organize business reviews, identify opportunities to (further) scale-up successful production with the MetalFAB system(s) at the customer.
  2. You start with your first MetalFAB sales leads and opportunities. You will qualify leads into opportunities and then guide the opportunity through the sales process. You will e.g. pitch our proposition, make the business case for investment, validating the business case with benchmark print assignments, negotiation etc.
  3. Provide support to our international sales organization preparing quotes, calculate business cases for industrial 3D metal printing, prepare visits of customers at our premises and abroad, organize demonstrations of the system and software, coordinate test-parts being printed and track the sales supporting activities. Moreover you will be the interface between the Sales Managers and the internal commercial and technical teams.

In the activities above you will be coached by the Director Sales & Applications EMEA & APAC and Senior Sales Managers in the first typically 1.5 – 2 years. As a successful Account Manager you can grow into a Sales Manager position, if you are interested in and excited about taking a step further within our organization.

With a technical background and international experience in consulting or consultative selling, including direct customer contact and responsibility, you are ready for a next step in a promising new technology market. You are well organised and punctual, a good listener and well informed as well as broadly interested and preferably experienced in the markets Additive Industries targets: aerospace, automotive, medical implants and high tech equipment parts. You share our passion of defining and realising the best 3D printing solutions for our high end customers. Your primary working place is our headquarter in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. On a regular basis (up to 50%) you will travel for tradeshows and you visit (potential) customers.


  • Manage customer accounts
  • Prepare (potential) customer visits at our premises and abroad
  • Calculate business cases, define system configurations and present cost price calculations
  • Make quotations and manage the sales funnel
  • Guide the benchmark prints for your opportunities, verifying the business case.
  • Coordinate sales support activities with the other teams, e.g. benchmarks, FAT/SAT, deliveries, installations, handover and training of our products
  • Answer commercial queries and public tenders
  • Prepare content for publications and customer events


The Account Manager reports to the Director Sales & Applications EMEA & APAC

Knowledge and experience/skills

  • Education: Bachelor or Master in Technology Management, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration or similar
  • 1-3 years working experience
  • Successful and demonstrable track record in direct sales preferably of capital equipment or projects
  • Good coordination skills, ability to improvise and hands-on mentality
  • Creative and commercial mind-set, ability to build effective relationships and operate in a broad range of functional areas
  • Experience in a customer facing role in an industrial and innovative environment is preferred
  • Good communicator both verbally, in writing and presenting
  • Being fluent in Dutch and English language. German language is a wish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel) and preferably Dynamics CRM
