Making astronomers dreams come true

After some years building the back-up structures for the Atacama Large Millimetre Array (ALMA) in the period 2006-2011, we are once more involved in building an astronomers dreams. This June we will deliver the first 3 composite telescope structures for the BlackGEM-project: a telescope array to detect the golden glow of gravitational wave events. It is to be installed at the ESO location La Silla Chile. A first successful sister demonstrator was already delivered in 2016 for the MeerLICHT-project, a Airborne co-engineered Carbon Fibre Reinforced (CFRP) telescope structure taken in operation in 2017 at South African Astronomical Observatory (SAAO)Read more [Source: Linkedin.com]
