On February 14, 2017, Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG acquired 100% of the shares of Advanced Test Concepts, Inc. (ATC), which is based in Indianapolis, USA. Pfeiffer Vacuum is one of the world´s leading providers of vacuum and testing solutions with over 50 years of experience in leak detection. In 1966 Pfeiffer Vacuum invented the first commercial helium leak detector. Only two years later Pfeiffer Vacuum introduced the counter flow principle which until today still is the basis for nearly all modern tracer gas leak detectors. Now this strong team is completed with the experts and products from Advanced Test Concepts, Inc. (ATC).
