When meeting prospects or customers about their direct drive wishes and needs, I always ask: do you want to be high dynamic AND high precision? Then you have to use a linear (voice coil) motor. Want to be high dynamic OR high precision? Then you can use a linear (voice coil) motor. Don’t need to be either high dynamic or high precision? Use something else.
