What excites you as a Senior Electronics Test Designer
- Your responsibilities, among other tasks, include designing and conducting electronics verification and validation activities, document results, follow-up on issues and continually enhancing test techniques for both R&D and production environments.
- As you will be in the lead for electronics testing we expect collaboration skills on all organizational levels as well as with stakeholders.
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers will be a significant part of your role. You’ll establish and manage test infrastructures, documentation, and applications, guiding teams through performance tests from start to finish ad automating test processes. Additionally, you’ll conduct and supervise accelerated life testing and environmental tests, such as thermal, vibration, shock, dust, and EMC.
- Managing test-related budgets and participating in cost reduction efforts are crucial aspects of your position. You’ll take ownership of the entire testing lifecycle, from conceptual design to final assembly, ensuring all project timelines and objectives are met.
- Striving for continuous improvement, you’ll update outdated test strategies and tools, conduct regular error analyses in production, initiate preventive actions, and develop permanent solutions.
