IP66, IP67, IP69K… De IP-waarde vertelt hoe goed een product beschermd is tegen stof en water.
Het eerste cijfer staat voor de stofbestendigheid, het tweede voor de waterbestendigheid. Maar een hoger getal betekent niet automatisch dat een product voor iedere situatie beter beschermd is. Een product dat bijvoorbeeld bestand is tegen onderdompeling, hoeft niet per definitie ook bestand te zijn tegen bespuiting. Daarom kan apparatuur zelfs twee verschillende IP-waarden hebben.

XPlanar cuts production lead time from weeks to hours
Aalborg University is replacing tool-based metal forming with laser-based manufacturing. Floating workpiece transport with ±5 µm precision reduces lead times from up to six weeks – using conventional manufacturing techniques – to two hours, while also reducing scrap by ten percent. Read more

200 Miljoen voor Eindhovense AI-chips, oud-topman ASML stapt in
Het Eindhovense AI-bedrijf Euclyd heeft ruim 200 miljoen euro opgehaald bij investeerders.
