Herikon

Herikon B.V. was founded in 1979. From its headquarters in Almelo, the Netherlands, the company has developed into an international player in the development and casting of polyurethane components for a wide range of markets, including mechanical engineering, automotive, and offshore industries.

Today, Herikon B.V. operates through two main business activities. The first is its foundry division, Herikon Engineering Elastomers, specializing in polyurethane casting. Using computer-controlled machinery, products are cast in proprietary molds and material formulations developed in-house. Herikon employs its own engineers and polymer specialists to ensure technically sound and successful applications.

In 2020, the company expanded its activities with the launch of Herikon Engineering Plastics, focusing on products manufactured from high-performance engineering plastics. The organization’s in-depth polymer expertise has been extended to additional plastic materials widely applied in advanced mechanical engineering. Materials such as PEEK, PETP, and POM are CNC precision-machined into high-quality end products.

Our team supports customers in material selection and in choosing specific grades or additive-enhanced variants. Machining of the shapes is carried out on 5-axis machining centers, ensuring high precision and compliance with stringent cleanliness requirements.

This enables us to provide well-founded technical advice across a broad spectrum of plastic materials and translate these insights into reliable, high-performance products.

Herikon is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and serves international clients including Porsche AG, various government organizations, and numerous companies in the mechanical engineering and machine building sector, including semicon and defense.
