Op zijn jaarlijkse persconferentie vandaag zette automatiseringsspecialist Pilz uiteen waarom de machineverordening 2027 het vakgebied ingrijpend verandert. Vanaf 20 januari 2027 geldt verordening (EU) 2023/1230 zonder overgangstermijn, waardoor industriële security voor het eerst een wettelijke voorwaarde wordt voor functionele veiligheid. De bijbehorende norm EN 50742 verschijnt volgens Pilz pas in november, ruim twee maanden voor die datum.
