Bi-directionele DC/DC convertor voor elektrische aandrijvingen
EPIC Power is een Spaanse fabrikant van bi-directionele DC/DC convertors die bedoeld zijn om hoge DC bus tussenkring spanningen en lagere batterijspanningen te koppelen. Een batterij met een lage spanning kan zo een reguliere frequentieregelaar voeden, direct via de tussenkring. En in het geval van regeneratief remmen, kan de remenergie worden teruggeleverd naar het batterijsysteem.
