Our customer Cerescon has delivered the first asparagus robot in the Netherlands. Cerescon has created a unique patented detection method: advanced proximity sensors are able to detect the asparagus underground without coming into contact with the asparagus. A rapid retraction mechanism prevents contact with the asparagus so that it remains undamaged. This detection module has succesfully been made and assembled by Hittech Comac.
