The winner of this year’s Röntgen Prize visited the headquarters of Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions in Asslar, Germany. The renowned physicist Dr Florian Dirnberger from the Technical University of Munich received the award presented by the Justus Liebig University of Giessen (JLU) for groundbreaking experiments on two-dimensional magnetic materials. The prize, endowed with 15,000 Euro, was donated by Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions and the Ludwig Schunk Foundation. Read more
