On the Quantum scale, heat is only noise. This is why we need to control temperature accurately throughout most quantum systems and often operate at extremely low temperatures – ranging from sub-Kelvin to tens of Kelvin:
* Sub-Kelvin for Superconducting quantum computers
* Few-Kelvins for Single Photon Generation and Detection
* Tens of Kelvin for extreme vacuum environments for Trapped Ion and Neutral Atom systems.
