
A high-speed camera is a special camera. It captures slow-motion video by recording at high frame rates. These rates are much higher than those of regular video cameras. Most standard cameras record at about 30 frames per second (fps). High-speed cameras can capture 1000 fps, 5000 fps, or even over a million frames per second in special setups.
