Maassluis, May 15 2024 – Today the 50,000th Astronaut was handed over to its new owner at the Balmoral Show in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. John Henning OBE, 37th president of the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, was present to celebrate this momentous milestone. Since its commercial introduction in 1995, the Astronaut has revolutionized dairy farming. Currently the Astronaut milking robots milk over 2.500.000 cows daily in over 50 countries worldwide.
